The limited grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that, against the order of punishment dated 19/06/2017, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before his excellency the Governor and which is pending consideration before the Secretary, Department of Panchayat & Rural Development as from the office of his excellency the Governor, the matter has been marked to the Secretary on 25/09/2017. 2.

Given the aforesaid facts this Court is not inclined to keep the Writ Petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if the petition is disposed

off with a direction to the respondent No.1 to ensure that the appeal of the petitioner which is pending consideration before the Secretary of the concerned department is decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date the petitioner produces the certified copy of this order before the appellate authority.
