1. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner prays for limited direction to respondent to consider the case of the petitioner which is pending consideration in respect of grant of compassionate appointment.

2. It appears that the claim of the petitioner is pending consideration right from the date, petitioner attained the age of majority i.e. in the year 2016.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case so far as entitlement of the petitioner is concerned, the authorities concerned are expected to decide the claim in accordance with the scheme for compassionate appointment applicable at that relevant point of time. It is expected that respondents would take a decision at the earliest.
