1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the father of the petitioner died because of the electrification, as he came in contact with the high tension electric wire, which is owned and maintained by the respondents. He would submit that subsequently the policy was framed by the respondents and in case of death by electrification certain amount would be paid as compensation. He further submits that the father of the petitioner died on 18.11.2015, however, as per the policy of the respondents, the petitioner has not been paid any amount. Under the circumstances, the petitioner has made an application to the respondent Junior Engineer on 12.03.2021 which may be directed to be decided.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner's father died an unnatural death in the year 2015 and it appears that no compensation has been paid to the petitioner, the petitioner is given liberty to file a fresh application to

the respondent No.3 within a period of two weeks and if such application is made, the respondent No.3 shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days and may consider the grant of compensation as per the then existing policy.
