0 1/11/2017 This writ petition has been filed challenging the election of six members of pharmacy councils as the election result has been declared by the Election Officer on 21.07.2017.

(2) Learned counsel for the State would submit that the petitioner has alternative remedy of raising election dispute before the State Government under Section 24 of The Pharmacy Act, 1948. (3) In view of above, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to raise such election dispute before the State Government under Section 24 of the Pharmacy, Act, 1948.

(4) Be that at it may, the petitioner is at liberty to raise the election dispute before the State Government under Section 24 of the Pharmacy Act and, in turn, the State Government shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously.

(5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
