Order On Board /0 3 /2018 (1) Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the competent authority has already passed an award under the provisions of National Highway Act, 1956 (henceforth "Act, 1956") and the Central Government has already appointed Arbitrator under Section 3(G)(5) of the Act, 1956.

(2) I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. (3) In view of above, since the central Government has already appointed Arbitrator, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioners prefer a claim before the Arbitrator within a period of one month from today, the said Arbitrator shall consider and decide the petitioners' claim/dispute expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of presentation of the respresentation.
