The present Writ Petition has been filed in a representative capacity challenging the orders dated 19.12.2001 (Annexure P-3), 9.7.2002 (Annexure P-4) and 11.6.2003 (Annexure P-5).

Taking into consideration the fact that the matter is pending before this Court for 14 years, this Court took up the matter and is deciding the same with the assistance of learned Counsel for Respondents No. 1 and 2 - State and learned Counsel for Respondent No.3 - Accountant General, State of Chhattisgarh.

The perusal of the records shows that the grievance of the Petitioner was in respect of fixation of pay and revision of pay. By efflux of time and also by virtue of the subsequent revision of pay which has come into force and which has been implemented and has also been effected upon the members of the Petitioner-Union, this Court is of the opinion that the lis
-2raised by the Petitioner is no longer surviving and the present Writ Petition is thus liable to be and is dismissed as having become infructuous. 4.
It shall be open for the Petitioner to move appropriate application for restoration in the event if lis still survives. 5.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
