1. Heard.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been granted benefit of revised pay scale from
15.062014vide order dated 01.08.2016 (Annexure P/7), however, the arrears of revised pay scale from 15.06.2014 till July, 2016 has not been paid despite representation (Annexure P/8).
3. Considering the nature of grievance raised in this petition, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with an observation that in the event petitioner prefers fresh representation before the competent authority within a period of four weeks from today, the said authority shall consider and decide the same at the earliest preferably within next three months, in accordance with law and on its own merits.
4. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
