1. The substantial grievance of the two writ petitioners herein was in fact the promotion granted to Mr. M.R. Sahu and another on 05.12.2002 w.e.f. 15.03.1986 ignoring their claims inspite of the fact that they were senior to Mr. M.R. Sahu and also being fully eligible and competent for the promotion.
2. The State Government had subsequently cancelled the promotion of the petitioners vide their order dated 28.01.2009. The said order has been set-aside by this Court in WPS No. 892/2009 and the liberty has been given to the State Government for passing a fresh order altogether.
3. Since the matter now rest with the State Government, the present two writ petitions also are being disposed of with a direction that while the State Government considers the claim of Mr. M.R. Sahu, (the petitioner in WPS No. 892/2009, which stood disposed of vide order dated 06.02.2019), the respondents shall simultaneously also consider the claim of the two petitioners herein for similar relief taking into consideration the inter-se seniority of the petitioners with that of Mr. M.R. Sahu.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present two writ petitions stand disposed off.
