Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application for grant of stay is pending consideration before the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) since 02.06.2016 and it has not been considered and decided till date and, therefore, directions may be issued to expedite the same.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly
allowed.

Be that as it may, the Sub-Divisional officer (Revenue) is directed to consider the petitioner's application for grant of stay strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of copy of this order after hearing both the parties. 5.
It is made clear that this Court has not made any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
