3. The Sub Divisional Officer, Raigarh, District Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) ---- Respondents For Petitioner - Shri Anil Mourya, Advocate For Respondents/State - Shri R.K. Gupta, Dy. A.G.
Order On Board 14/07/2015 Heard.
1. From the perusal of the pleadings in the writ petition, it appears that the dispute is mainly with regard to the amount of compensation claimed by the petitioner. The award has not been filed. The petitioner's application is pending before the SDO for seeking assessment of compensation on the basis that the land sought to be acquired is an irrigated land.
2. For the present considering the stage of proceedings, I am not inclined to keep this matter pending, let the Land Acquisition Officer look into the matter and take appropriate decision on petitioner's claim in accordance with the provisions of the Land Acquisition Laws applicable in force. Thereafter, if the grievance of the petitioner still survives, it will be open for the petitioner to take recourse to remedy as may be available to him under the law.
3. Accordingly, the petition is disposed off. Sd/- Manindra Mohan Shrivastava J U D G E Rekha
