1. The accused/applicant has moved this bail application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for releasing him on regular bail during trial in connection with Crime No.155/2015, registered at Police Station: Excise Circle, Tatibandh, Gudhiyari, Distt. Raipur, for the offence punishable under Section 34 (2) of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915.

2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that 17.280 bulk liters of illicit liquor was seized by the police from the present applicant.

3. Taking into consideration the provisions contained in Section 59-A of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915 and criminal antecedents of the applicant, I do not find any case for grant of bail to the applicant. The application is, therefore, rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
