In the present petition, prayer is made to direct the respondent University to extend the benefit of pay protection and payment of arrears for the period from April, 2012 to December, 2015 with interest.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in respect of the pay, the pay protection was granted to the petitioner earlier and subsequently when it was not extended to the petitioner he made several representations, which are pending with the University. He further submits that presently the University may be directed to decide such representations and written communication be made to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the University do not object to such prayer and submits that the representations, if any is pending shall be decided accordingly.

Taking into the controversy between the parties, as limited prayer at the movement has been made to decide the representation of the petitioner, the respondent University is directed to decide the pending representations of the petitioner within a further period of two months from today.
