31-10-2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the purpose of filling of this writ petition would be served if direction is issued to the respondent No. 2 -Collector to decide the main case itself at the earliest. 2.

State counsel has no objection to this proposition. 3.

Accordingly, respondent No. 2-Collector is directed to expedite the confiscation proceedings and to decide the same as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that the petitioner shall also cooperate in early disposal of the main case.
