(1) Since common question of law and fact is involved in both the writ petitions, they are heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.
(2) Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that goods of the petitioners have been seized by respondent No. 1 without authority of law and without following the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (hereinafter called as 'Act of 2014'). (3) On the other hand, learned counsel for respondent No.1 would submit that the petitioners will be given places for vending temporarily and in May, 2018 permanent places for vending will be given and goods seized shall be returned to them within three days from today.
(4) In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counel for the Municipal Corporation, Raipur, the writ petitions stands disposed of . The Municipal Corporation, Raipur is directed to strictly follow the provisons of the Act of 2014 and necessary certificate shall be issued in favour of the petitioners at the earliest.
