The limited grievance that the petitioner has is the non-granting of the benefits of promotion, the time scale pay and the benefits of the increments due to the petitioner from 03.02.1995. 2.

During the course of the hearing the counsel for the petitioner referred to Annexure P/6 an order passed by the Collector dated 25.05.2018, whereby there is a recommendation made for grant of all these dues to the petitioner and the matter was sent for scrutiny and approval to the Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts & Pension, but no further progress has developed in the said case and the petitioner is at the fag end of his service career and therefore has

approached this Court for an appropriate directions to the respondents to take an early decision in respect of the claim of the petitioner.

Considering the recommendation made by the order of the Collector dated 25.05.2018 (Annexure P/6), the present writ petition in its present form can be disposed of at this stage directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision on the claim application put forth by the petitioner claiming for the benefit of promotion and also the grant of time scale pay and the arrears thereon and also so far as the proper increments which the petitioner was entitled for from 03.02.1995 onwards. 4.

Let an appropriate decision taken by the respondents at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
