1. Since the common issue is involved in all the cases therefore, they are heard and decided together by this common order.
2. Petitioners contend that the petitioners after the skill test were appointed as Drivers in the Public Health Engineering Department Raipur. It is further contended that their list though was prepared vide Annexure P-1 which contains a note that they would be issued appointment order and if they do not appear thereafter the persons from the waiting list would be selected. It is contended that thereafter the said list though was issued in the year 2014 but till date the petitioners are awaiting the appointment letter and despite the considerable time has passed no appointment letters have been issued.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that under the circumstances the petitioners may be given liberty to make representation before the respondent No.2 so that they may know their position and respondent No.2 may be directed to decide the same in accordance with law.
4. Considering the prayer made and the time which has been passed in the meanwhile, the petitioners are given liberty to make a detailed representation before the respondent No.2 within a period of 3 weeks from today and on such representation being filed, the respondent No.2 The Superintending Engineer
(E/e) Division Public Health Engineering Department Raipur Chhattisgarh shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the representation.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the all the writ petitions stand disposed of. Sd/- Goutam Bhaduri Judge Ashu
