1. The Counsel appearing for the respondent produced document dated 16.04.2019 whereby according to respondent he has taken a decision for granting promotion to the petitioner and also for granting proper seniority to the petitioner as compared to his Juniors but the Counsel for the respondent submits that the formal order could not be passed because of the election code of conduct and immediately after the election code of conduct is over, the promotion order would be issued to the petitioner.

2. Given the said submissions by the Counsel for the respondent, this Court is of the opinion that nothing further remains in this present Contempt petition to be proceeded with. Accordingly the contempt petition stands disposed of and it is expected that the respondent shall ensure compliance of the order dated 16.04.2019 at the earliest without any further delay.
