1. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is owner of land bearing Khasra No.621/14 measuring 0.016 hectare situated in Tifra, Patwari, Halka No.23 Tehsil and District Bilaspur, C.G. The petitioner filed an application before Tehsildar in the year 2013 requesting demarcation of the land on 09.05.2013, Tehsildar Bilaspur

-2constituted a team of Revenue Officers for demarcation of the disputed land, but no demarcation has taken place till date. However, subsequent to the approaches that were made by the petitioner, the Tehsildar, Bilaspur has again issued a memo dated 07.08.2021 directing the Revenue Inspector Tifra to demarcate the property and report before 20.09.2021.

2. It is further submitted that the Revenue Officers have not made compliance of this order dated 07.08.2021 as well. Therefore, it is prayed that specific direction may be issued so that the demarcation of the land is conducted and completed within a time frame.

3. Learned State counsel opposes the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considered on the submissions Perused the documents and copies filed along with the petition, it appears that the demarcation proceeding is underway, in which the Revenue Officers, who are responsible for making demarcation on the spot have not taken any action so far despite their being order given by Tehsildar Bilaspur, therefore, this petition is disposed off at the motion stage. The respondents are directed to proceed with the demarcation proceeding as applied by the petitioner and conclude the same preferably within a period of 60 days from the date this order is passed.
