Petitioner would call in question cancellation of her appointment and the appointment of the respondent No.5 as Aanganbadi Worker of Gram Panchayat, Dewari, under the Project Officer, Integrated Child Development Project, Damdha, District Durg.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is not aware as to whether the petitioner is presently allowed to work or not pursuant to the interim order of status quo passed by this Court on 8-2-2007. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the orders concerning appointment, removal from service and other issues have been made appelable before the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), if the order is passed by the Gram Panchayat and before the Collector when the order passed by the Janpad Panchayat. 4.

In the present case the order of cancellation of petitioner's appointment has been passed by the Project Officer, Integrated Child Development, Damdha, which is an authority subordinate to the Collector.

In view of the appeal remedy before the Collector, let the petitioner prefer an appeal before the Collector within a period of six weeks from today and on such appeal being preferred, the Collector shall hear all the parties and pass a reasoned order on merits at the earliest.

Till the petitioner's appeal is decided or for a period of six months whichever is earlier the interim order passed by this Court on 8-2-2007 shall continue.
