This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of order of this Court passed on 21.07.2016 on the submission that the protection has been granted, not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner for a period of four weeks. According to the petitioner, certified copy of the order passed by this Court was obtained on the same day and it was placed before the authority on 22.07.2016, on which, the authority has informed that the petitioner has already been relieved. 2.
Memo dated 28.07.2016 passed by the Executive Engineer shows that the petitioner was relieved on 21.07.2016, on which date, the order was also passed by this Court. Therefore, even if the petitioner has been relieved, the petitioner cannot be subjected to any coercive steps. The petitioner shall not be compelled to
proceed on transfer nor any adverse action shall be taken against the petitioner in view of direction passed by this Court on 21.07.2016, for the period stated in the order. 3.
The petition is accordingly disposed off.
