1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is confined to non consideration of her claim for compassionate appointment on the death of her husband who died in harness on 25.12.2019.

2. The husband of the petitioner was working under the respondent as Shiksha Karmi Grade - III (Assistant Teacher Panchayat). The application for grant of compassionate appointment was moved by the petitioner on 28.10.2020 but till date no decision as such has been taken by the authorities concerned.

3. Given the fact that application of the petitioner is pending consideration and has not been decided on merits, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to ensure that the application for compassionate appointment moved by the petitioner is considered and decided in accordance with rules and policies governing the field of compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
