(2) By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide his pending application for grant of compassionate appointment on account of death of his mother, who died on 9-5-2014 in harness while working under the respondent authorities.
(3) Looking to the aforesaid submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the pending application
of the petitioner, in accordance with law on its own merits, as early as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
(4) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall consider and decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law on its own merits.
