Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application to the respondent No. 2 on 02.08.2017 for correction of his name in the permanent stage carriage permit which has not been considered and decided till date, therefore directions may be issued to expedite the same.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 1 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's application for correction of his name in the permit expeditiously preferably within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
