1. Petitioner No.1 is undergoing training of General Nursing Midwife (GNM) in the respondent No.6 College, run by respondent No.5. Petitioner No.2 is the father of petitioner No.1. The course curriculum is governed by the

regulations framed by the Indian Nursing Council. The course is a 3 & 1⁄2 years course with each year having 46 weeks of training including class room instructions and clinical field practice. As per Annexure P-1, the petitioner No.1 falls short by 24 days on training, therefore, she is not allowed to participate in the main examination, which is to commence from 29th August, 2016.

2. It is argued that respondent No.6 College being a private college is not considering her representation because it is bound by the regulations framed by the Indian Nursing Council and is under the control of the Chhattisgarh Nursing Council.

3. Considering the entirety of the circumstances and for the fact that the examination is to commence from 29th August, 2016, ends of justice would be served if the petitioner No.1 prefers a representation before respondent No.4 by 26th August, 2016, the respondent No.4 shall thereafter decide the representation within a week, preferably before the commencement of the examination.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
