Learned counsel for petitioner submits that on the ground of medical illness, he intends to prefer representation with a request to adjust him at the present place of posting. He next submits that the transfer order is under challenge also on the ground that the petitioner is going to retire within a short period. 3.

In this case, date of retirement of the petitioner is after one year from the date of issuance of order of transfer. However, considering the medical ground, the petitioner may prefer representation before the respondent authority. If the petitioner prefers

representation before the respondent authority within a period of 10 days from today, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of four weeks from the date of submission of representation.
