ORDER

09.06.2021 Heard.

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for an armed license to the District Magistrate by Annexure P-2 on 27.09.2017. Subsequent thereto all the formalities have been completed, but neither the armed license have been allowed nor it has been rejected. Therefore, the District Magistrate may be directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a stipulated time.

2. Learned State counsel submits that the State would decide the application according to its own merit.

3. Considering the documents and the fact that the application for armed license has been filed in the year 2017 and considerable time have been passed, therefore, it has come to a logical end. Under the circumstances, the District Magistrate, Baloda Bazar is directed to decide the application of

the petitioner within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not decided till date.
