I find that on the ground there is already a substitute Sarpanch elected, prayer for stay has been rejected. In the background of the controversy, I am not inclined to interfere with the order of the Court below in exercise of supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, however, considering the prayer of learned counsel for the petitioner, it is directed that petitioner's appeal

shall be decided and hear on merits within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
