Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the exercise directed to be under taken by order dated 29 January, 2013 has not been completed till date. Copy of the order was served upon the respondents in the year 2013. 2.
After perusal of the pleadings and document appended there to, I find that this Court has directed consideration of the petitioner's case for grant of scale promotion vide order dated. 29January 2013. Almost 2 years have been lapsed. Even though, no specific time limit has been prescribed and it is obligatory in the part of the respondent to comply with the Court's order within a reasonable time.

Considering that almost 2 years have been lapsed at this stage, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to the present holder of the office of Director of health service
and Chief Medical Officer to undertake the exercise and complete the same within an outer limit of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order which is now being passed. If the order is not complied with, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the contempt proceedings.
