(1) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made an application / representation for compassionate appointment as his father late Shri Chamru Prasad, Assistant Teacher died in harness on 01.01.2000 and same is pending for consideration with respondent No.4 - Block Education Officer, Block Kusmi.

(2) In view of above, respondent No.4 - Block Education Officer, Block Kusmi is directed to decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously. However, it is made clear that respondent No.4 shall decide the representation of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law.
