The limited prayer made through this petition is that even though the petitioners have raised a dispute before the Arbitrator for adjudication of dispute under sub-Section (5) of Section 3(G) of the National Highways Act, 1956, the matter has remained pending without any decision. 2.

Considering that the dispute is pending before the Arbitrator for last one year, at this

stage, without passing any order on merits, it is directed that Arbitrator shall decide and adjudicate the dispute as early as possible preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, subject to cooperation from all the parties. 3.
