Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that on the petitioner's land road has already been constructed in the year 2012 and the compensation has been assessed by the respondent authorities on 26.04.2017 i.e. after a lapse of five years for which the petitioner has given his consent on 20.05.2017, but till date neither compensation has been paid nor rehabilitation has been provided to him and, therefore, directions may be issued to decide the same expeditiously.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the Collector, Rajnandgaon is directed to consider and dispose of the proceedings expeditiously preferably within a period of 30

days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to make an additional representation to the Collector, Rajnandgaon for the redressal of his grievances, if any. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
