1. The present writ petition has been filed assailing the advertisement dated 02.03.2021 inviting applications for appointment to the post of Guest Faculty (Lecturer) for the academic Session 2020-21.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner concedes that the impugned advertisement has been acted upon and some other person has already been selected and appointed as Guest Faculty at the place where the petitioner was earlier discharging duties.

3. Given the fact that the advertisement has already been acted upon, this Court is of the opinion that nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of reserving the right of the petitioner to avail other remedies available to him under law.
