1. The limited prayer that the petitioner makes in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider the

representation that the petitioner has filed claiming his promotion to the next promotional post i.e. Senior Agricultural Development Officer.

2. The limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Senior Agricultural Development Officer in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
