2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after the order was passed by this Court on 5.1.2017 in WPS No.6433 of 2016, allowing benefit of the Time Bound Pay Scale to the petitioner, a representation was moved by him for granting such benefit, but when no action was taken, the petitioner filed Contempt Case (C) No.316 of 2017. In the above stated
contempt petition, the CMO made statement that by issuing order dated 24.7.2017, the writ issued by this Court has been complied with. It is further put-forth that despite the said order and statement made by the CMO, the actual benefit of the order is not extended to the petitioner by making payment of the amount for the reason that the petitioner had preferred a contempt petition.

Having considered the submissions and the orders passed by this Court, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Chief Municipal OfÏcer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Ratanpur District Bilaspur to make payment of the amount, for which, the petitioner is entitled in terms of the order dated 24.7.2017 within a period of 15 days from today and if this order is not complied within the aforesaid period, the Chief Municipal OfÏcer, Nagar Palika Parishad, Ratanpur, District Bilaspur, shall pay interest on the entire amount @ 12% per annum. If such eventuality occurs, the amount of interest shall be paid by the said CMO personally, which shall not be reimbursed by the State Government.
