The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the Order dated 05.09.2018 passed in W.P.S. No. 5161 of 2011.

The matter reveals that the non-finalization of the GPF Account of the petitioner/applicant.

This Court had directed the concerned Accountant General as well as the District Block Education Officer, Korba to call upon the petitioner/applicant as also to revisit the entire GPF Passbook and Account of the petitioner/applicant and verify whether there is any deficit balance or not.

The documents which have been brought on record by the petitioner/applicant shows that the Office of the Account General has since made correspondences to the Block Education Officer, Katghora, Korba calling upon the records, which by itself shows that the respondents are in the process of compliance of the directives given by this Court.

The grievance of the petitioner/applicant at this juncture is that, the petitioner/applicant has not been called upon for a personal hearing of the Accountant General and the Block Education Officer as was directed by this Court on 05.09.2018.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the Contempt Petition pending at this juncture, particularly in the light of the correspondences being made between the Office of Accountant General and the Block Education Officer. 7.

The Contempt Petition, at this juncture stands disposed off directing the petitioner/applicant to approach the concerned Block Education Officer as well as the Accountant General apprising them of the Order passed by this Court and the Block Education Officer and the Accountant General are in turn expected to give a personal hearing to the petitioner/applicant at the earliest, scrutinize the GPF Account of the petitioner/applicant and finalise the same by passing a speaking order. Expecting an early decision, the Contempt Petition stands disposed off. However, the right of the petitioner/applicant

-3stands reserved for approaching this Court, in case of noncompliance of the Order of this Court within a reasonable period. 8.
