1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken up through video conferencing.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has filed representation for making retrospective promotion w.e.f. from 13.07.02011 to respondent No.1 on 27.10.2018 vide Annexure P/10 which is still pending and, therefore, it be directed to be decided.

3. Mr. Siddharth Dubey, learned State counsel, submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and decided in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submission of learned State counsel, respondent No.1 is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order on its own merits by passing a reasoned and speaking order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the

merits of the case.

5. With the aforesaid observation / direction the instant writ petition stands disposed off.
