In this writ petition, the petitioner who is a contractor has prayed for a direction commanding the respondent authorities to provide security and ensure law and order situation at the work place pursuant to the work order issued by the Water resources Department.

Return has been filed on behalf of the State. It has been submitted that the grievance raised by the petitioner for providing security has already been redressed.

In view of the submission that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed as per the reply/return filed by the State, this writ petition stands finally disposed of.
