Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite petitioner's entitlement to get stagnation increment which was earlier being paid to him, further increment is now not being given to the petitioner. The petitioner has submitted his application but no orders are being passed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that at present, the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondents to consider petitioner's claim in terms of circular dated 01.08.2017 (Annexure P/3). 3.

Considering the submission and the background, it would be appropriate to dispose off the matter with direction to consider and either grant the increment or pass speaking order stating reason for not granting the same within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
