The only grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is the granting of the benefit of revised pay scale from the date he has completed 8 years of service and which in fact has been paid to the petitioner late w.e.f. 28.06.2017.

According to the petitioner, since he joined duty on 28.08.2008, he completes 8 years of service on 27.08.2016 and as such the benefit of
revised pay scale should have been given to him from 27.08.2016 onwards but the same has been extended to him only w.e.f. 28.06.2017. 3.
Given the limited nature of dispute which the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner make a detailed representation in this regard to respondents 2 & 3 within a period of 3 weeks from today, in addition to the representation that he has already made. On such representation being made, respondents 2 & 3 shall decide the same in accordance with the rules and regulations as also the circulars of the State Govt. in this regard at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner.
