1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has furnished bank guarantee of 62,60,000/- to the District Excise ₹ Officer, Dhamtari and license period has expired, yet the bank guarantee has not been returned.

2. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the District Excise Officer, Dhamtari within ten days from today and the District Excise Officer, in turn, is directed to decide the same within three weeks from the date of receipt of representation, in accordance with law.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
