At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in an identical case, a direction for consideration of representation for compassionate appointment was made by this Court in the case of death of an employee of the Co-operative Central Bank. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is son of late Shailendra Nath Paul, who died on 30.12.2015 while working with the respondent. According to the petitioner, after death of his father an application has been moved by the petitioner on 11.03.2016, but respondent authority has not decided it till date. 2.

In the light of above submission, respondent authority is directed to consider and decide the said application in accordance with the policy of compassionate appointment within a period of three months from today.
