This revision has been preferred against the order dated 08/02/2019 passed in Misc. Criminal Case No. 120/2017 passed by the Family Court, Dhamtari, whereby the learned Family Court while allowing the application under Section 127 of the Cr.P.C enhanced the monthly maintenance from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 3000/- in favour of the Respondent herein.

I have heard counsel for the Applicant and perused the record. 4.

There is no dispute on the point that the Respondent is minor daughter of the Applicant who is residing with her mother and the mother of the Respondent is getting salary of Rs. 19500/-. There is also no dispute on the point that the Applicant is a practicing lawyer.

Considering the entire facts and totality of the case, further considering the profession of the Applicant, his earning capacity and the hike in the present price index, the maintenance enhanced by the Family Court appears just and proper.

Accordingly, I find no merit in this revision. The same is accordingly dismissed.
