Mr. Dhaniram Patel, Advocate For State/Res. No.1 to 4 :

Ms. Sunita Jain, GA Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 19/06/2020

1. The limited relief that the petitioner prays at this juncture is that he has around 129 quintals of Paddy still lying in the field for sale. However, respondent authorities have not issued any token in his favour on account of which the petitioner could not sale the paddy and wants suitable relief in this regard. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already made a detailed representation to the respondent No.2 and respondent No.2 in turn may be directed to

decide the representation in accordance with the Government Policy at the earliest.

2. To this limited prayer that the petitioner has made, counsel for the State does not have any objection.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner and decide the representation in accordance with the Government's Policy, (if the same has till date not been decided), at the earliest preferably within a period of two weeks'.

4. This Court has knowingly granted two weeks' time for the reason that Monsoon is fast approaching in the State of Chhattisgarh, in case if an early decision is not taken, the same can be detrimental to the paddy sale lying in the field.

5. Accordingly, respondent No.2 is expected to take a decision within the stipulated period that has been given by this Court.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Rohit
