The only grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is the granting of the benefit of revised pay scale from the date he/she has completed 8 years of service and which in fact has been paid to the petitioner late w.e.f. 28.06.2017.

According to the petitioner, since he/she joined duty on 31.08.2008, he/she completes 8 years of service on 30.08.2016 and as such the benefit of revised pay scale should have been given to him/her from 30.08.2016 onwards but the same has been extended to him only w.e.f. 28.06.2017.

Given the limited nature of dispute which the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner make a detailed representation in this regard to respondents 2 & 3 within a period of 3 weeks from today, in addition to the representation that he/she has already made. On such representation being made, respondents 2 & 3 shall decide the same in accordance with the rules and regulations as also the circulars of the State Govt. in this regard at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner.
