Order On Board 26/03/2018 (1) Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application under Section 33 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for grant of compensation and rehabilitation is pending consideration since 23.5.2017 and, therefore, the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.
(2) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and accordingly the same is allowed. (3) Be that as it may, the competent authority is directed to consider and dispose of the
petitioner's application for grant of compensation and rehabilitation expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
