Shri Sourabh Sharma, counsel for the respondents No. 1 & 2. Heard on I.A. No. 1, which is application for condonation of delay in filing the restoration application.

Taking into consideration the age of the applicant and also considering the fact that the dispute in the petition was an order of recovery from the retiral dues, in the opinion of this Court sufficient reason assigned in the application and the same being satisfactory, the delay in filing the restoration application of 203 days is condoned.

Also heard on application for restoration of Writ Petition No. 2290 of 2001.

On due consideration of the submission made by the counsel

and the reasons assigned in the said application is satisfactory, in the opinion of this Court, the M.C.C. deserves to be and is accordingly allowed.

The Writ Petition No. 2290 of 2001 which was dismissed for want of prosecution on 07/12/2015 stands restored to its original number.

No order as to costs.
