Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's application for grant of permanent stage carriage permit has remained pending before the respondent-Regional Transport Authority since 30.5.2014.

Considering the submission made and the nature of grievance raised, instead of keeping the matter pending, it would be expedient, at this stage, to disposed off the petition with a direction to respondent-authority to take appropriate decision on petitioner's application within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
