Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had moved an application for grant of permanent stage carriage permit on 29.4.2015, which has not been decided till date. He submits that the applications are required to be decided within statutorily prescribed period of 60 days.

Considering the submission made, this petition, at this stage, can be disposed off with direction to the respondent -authority to decide petitioner's application in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
