The Controlling Authority, Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, Baikunthpur has passed an order on 05.08.2014 in favour of the petitioner and awarded

the amount of gratuity to be paid to the petitioner but till date no payment towards gratuity has been made to the petitioner, leading to filing of this writ petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has made several representations before the respondent / concerned authorities but it has not been considered. 3.

Be that as it may, the Controlling Authority Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, Baikunthpur is directed to take appropriate action towards payment of award of amount of gratuity to the petitioner expeditiously. The petitioner would be at liberty to file copy of this order before the respondent authorities for release of the gratuity amount.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
