HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet Cr. M. P. No. 561 of Rahul @ Rajjan Tiwari Versus State of Chhattisgarh 22.03.2018 Shri Sangharsh Pandey, Dy. G.A. for the State. This is an office reference based on the request letter (PUD) dated 07.03.2018 received from the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Raipur through the District and Sessions Judge, Raipur requesting for further extension of time for disposal of the case.

This Court, while disposal of Cr.M.P. No. 844 of 2013, vide order dated 18.09.2014 had directed the trial Court to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing. On 15.05.2015, this Court had extended time by another six months for conclusion of the trial. Now, a fresh request has been made for further extension of time for conclusion of the trial.

Taking into consideration the reasons stated in the letter of request, the Court below is granted further six months time from the next date of hearing for disposal of the case.

It is expected that the trial Court shall take all necessary steps to conclude the trial within the said extended period.
